Modern Ethos LLC is a professional body piercing and body jewelry studio focused on health and safety surrounding piercings, setting the standard as the first of it's kind in the Harrisburg area and surrounding areas. We offer a wide selection of high quality jewelry made of certified implant grade materials with internal threading or threadless options. We carry implant grade titanium, niobium, organic stone plugs, borosilicate glass pieces for stretching or retainers, hanging style pieces, and 14kt or 18kt solid, nickel free gold options. Genuine stones and custom orders are possible!
Using the most up to date and monitored STERILIZATION practices, we provide all your body piercing needs in a clean, comfortable atmosphere, along with our private piercing rooms, exceeding both local and state requirements. Our head piercer has over 19 years of professional experience, starting her career in 2007. Our piercers regularly attend seminars and workshops, with certification renewals yearly, and have also helped with local health/dental board education on piercing safety, piercing safety in school health classes, and is the preferred studio for local medical professionals with questions surrounding piercing. We follow the recommended guidelines of the Association of Professional Piercers (www.safepiercing.org) for our operations, education, and jewelry while preparing for our full membership.
We provide a wide range of body piercing services on all areas of the body that are capable of safe, healthy healing. Our piercer will work with you on all considerations before receiving a piercing. Some may require a consultation beforehand, or may be dependent on your anatomy or lifestyle choices. The longevity of your piercing is our goal!
We currently work by appointment for all services and require different forms of ID to remain compliant with federal, state, and local law, as well as our studio's insurance policies. Be sure to read our FAQ page before you visit and email us with any questions before you book!
